Diocesan Youth Ministry Support Worker

The Catholic Diocese of Townsville is seeking to appoint a part-time (22 hours per week) Catholic Youth Ministry Support Worker.

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate Catholic individual committed to making a difference in the development and implementation of our Catholic youth ministry initiatives:

  • Assisting the Diocesan Youth Leadership Team to provide opportunities for young people to understand and deepen their Christian faith, and contribute to a vibrant Church
  • Ensuring skills, tools, support and mentoring are provided to youth leaders at parish and diocesan levels
  • Understanding the goals for youth ministry, with a passion and ability to enable their implementation in the Diocese
  • Providing executive support to the Diocesan Youth Leadership Team in its implementation of projects for and with young people in the Church
