Mary MacKillop Parish acknowledges the Wulgurukaba and Bindal people, traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we stand and worship. We pay our respects to elders past, present and future. Hand in hand may we walk gently and respectfully upon this land.

Vision & Mission

Our Vision:

Centred in Jesus Christ, we are a vibrant, worshipping, Catholic community who care for each other and our world.

Our Mission:

We strive to live out our Vision by engaging the gifts of our Parish community by:
  • Coming to know Jesus more fully through our parish activities (Scripture & Lenten Groups; Josephite Associate Group; Faith Development; spreading the Good News)
  • Enabling full participation in the Liturgical and Sacramental life of our community (Mass; Prayer of the Church; RCIA; Music Ministry; School Masses & Liturgies; Sacramental Program; Adoration; Anointing of the Sick)
  • Having a focus in our care for each other (School/Early Learning Centre; cultural inclusiveness; visiting the sick; supporting the aged care homes; participating in a diverse range of celebrations e.g. world day of the sick, disability week, prayer for christian unity)
  • Acting for justice by focusing beyond ourselves (St Vincent de Paul Conference - helping the poor and disadvantaged; Global justice issues; environmental awareness; sharing Parish resources; Caritas; Catholic Mission; MacKillop Prison Gate Ministry)
