Ecumenical Service for the Opening of the Legal Year
This morning, the Anglican Cathedral of St James hosted the Ecumenical Service marking the Opening of the Legal Year. Amongst those in attendance were Bishop Timothy J Harris and the Dean of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Fr Sylvester Emetuche.
The service brought together judges, magistrates, barristers, members of the legal profession, and law enforcement personnel in prayer and reflection for the administration of justice in Townsville and the surrounding districts, seeking God’s wisdom, guidance, and blessings for the year ahead.
