About our Parish

Vision & Mission

In early 2010 the Blessed Mary MacKillop Parish held a Parish Assembly for those interested in the strategic planning and revitalisation of the parish. Part of this process involved setting the parish vision and mission.

Our Vision:

Centred in Jesus Christ, we are a vibrant, worshipping, Catholic
community who care for each other and our world.

Our Mission:

We strive to live out our Vision be engaging the gifts of our Parish community by:

Coming to know Jesus more fully through our parish activities
(Faith development; Lenten groups; meditation; YCS; spreading the Good News)
Enabling full participation in the Liturgical and Sacramental life of our community
(Liturgy; prayer of the Church; RCIA; music; school Liturgy; Sacramental program; Mass)
Having a focus in our care for each other
(School/Early Learning Centre; cultural inclusiveness; care and concern; aged care; disability service)
Acting for justice by focusing beyond ourselves
(Global justice issues; environmental awareness; sharing Parish resources; Caritas)
