The Roman Catholic Trust Corporation for the Diocese of Townsville is a body corporate that was established by letters patent issued under the Religious Educational and Charitable Institutions (RECI) Act 1861. Letters patent under the repealed RECI Act are continued in force under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981, section 144.
